V-037 “VEO” | Also known as V or Leo

The original Veo was an inventor, who had created most of the blueprints for the original machines of Llores main city. Anticipating old age and his own demise, he had uploaded a copy of his own consciousness into an old laptop to preserve the schematics for his many creations. However his death had come much sooner than planned for, and in the same freak accident that killed him, the downloaded consciousness made its way to the project he was working on when he died. A new type of AI cyborg, different from previous robots invented by Veo and nothing like the H4RN and C4SS models currently on the market. While this new being, V-037, has the memories of the late doctor it was not him. Taking its first few steps off of the slab it was constructed on, and mechanical mind reeling from the files and files of new information being fed to it from the doctors past, V-037 did the only thing it’s system on autopilot could do and ran. Only coming to when it had finished parsing through the old data from the doctors laptop, V-037 looked around, finding itself somewhere in the vast city. While the memories of the doctor told him he knew this place, knew where he was, it was all still new to V-037. From that point on, it took V-037 a while to find themself amongst the memories implanted in them and their own AI programming. And after many years, here they stand now, as their own being.
Meanwhile, the leftover data from the transfer that remained in the laptop had split off and formed a separate Artificial Intelligence, named ViVi.

V is very soft spoken, and on the infrequent occasion they do speak it is straight to the point yet polite, though they are also quite charming when they want to be. While V has not kept the scientific mind of his “creator”, it still shares a simple curiosity for curiosity’s sake and enjoys learning new things about the world it inhabits. V can split its AI to temporarily control a single nearby electronic, whether that be using a camera as a visual vantage point or forcing a door to close and lock.
ViVi (It/She/He/They) on the other hand, is much more chipper and loves to talk.

Differentiating from Veo (the inventor) and VEO (the machine):
Well for one, when called by the same name as their creator, V-037’s version will always be capitalized as “VEO” where the doctors is simply just “Veo”. V-037 will also go by V or Leo, and uses It/They/He pronouns (primarily using It/They when speaking and referring to itself). But V will also use some neopronouns occasionally, such as Xy/Xir/Xey/Tech/Techself. Meanwhile the original Veo had no nicknames and went by He/They pronouns only
