- born in the Forest under unusual circumstances. She was only an egg when her parents and their nest were pulled into the pocket dimension. The other eggs were lost or damaged beyond repair, but hers was salvageable, and her parents were able to keep her safe until she hatched. She was born sickly, though, and she wasn't growing like she should be due to the stagnation of time within the Forest. When doctors and the few healers who still had access to their magic at the time failed to help her, her parents decided to seek out the strange witches who had followed the spirits away from town. They found Derelict, and she used her newfound power to save their daughter's life.
