INCIDENT DESCRIPTION:

At [],

something knocked into the station; the initial impact caused the almost immediate implosion of crew quarters, resulting in the assumed immediate death of the Red Shift crew, as well as the power (center), resulting in temporarily loss of air circulation, lights, primary comms, etc. The rest of the station remained intact for 25 minutes after. Blue Shift crew, who were in the research lab at the time, quickly donned pressure suits for evacuation, figuring if anything hit the base again, it would be safer to deal with whatever had damaged the base outside, rather than risking another implosion. Madock went to manually start up the emergency power generator when it didn't immediately kick in due to technical issues missed during the construction of the base. She was able to send out an SOS, but 22 seconds after power came on, the attacking creature returned and rammed into the base. Assuming it was attracted to the light, the Blue Shift crew turned off all suit lights and remained motionless in a crevasse
Video footage salvaged from external station cameras and suit cams gave only scattered glimpses of parts of the giant life-form that attacked the base, but the unidentified creature's length has been extrapolated to around 100 meters.
