Abdiel
Though hatching encroached in shadows, Abdiel is firmly a dragon of the light. Though many say he is afflicted by the pure light magic that seemingly runs through cracks in his body, Abdiel and his parents believe that this is a blessing, a sign of being chosen by the Lightweaver. Abdiel works hard to live up to Aine's expectations, learning offensive, defensive, and scholarly magic until his paws ache with the energy being dispelled from them every day. His training takes a toll however, and the light in the veins on his body is beginning to dull. Terrified of what this means for his standing with his parents and with the Lightweaver, Abdiel flees in the night into inpenetrable darkness, his dim bioluminescence leading the way, fading by the second.
