Biography

Species: Elf
Role: Clown, Servant, Screw-up

Gotta develop this loser because he's kind of important to Hellequin's story scratch that, he's not a loser, I love him very much.

Hellequin's older brother, and The Devil's servant. Smells like smoke.

Full time pyromaniac

He lived, he died, then he lived again.

Pierrot or "Pierre" and Hellequin have always been polar opposites of each other. In the past while Hellequin was extroverted and highly agile, Pierrot was a clumsy loner. He never wanted to be a performer, let alone be the one who was suppose to be laughed at. However, when Hellequin was accepted into the King's court (man I still haven't come up with this), his mother pressured him to tag along. The only reason he decided to stay was because not only did they make a decent amount of money from the job, but they also got to live in the castle, so it wasn't all bad.

As soon as he saw the Princess, he immediately fell in love with her. After a while he told Hellequin of his feelings towards The Princess so he could help him get closer to her, but what he didn't know was that The Princess was in love with his brother.
It's just one of those love triangles, cool.
So, things didn't exactly go well when he found this out, because to him, Hellequin was flirting with The Princess to spite him. And out of rage he purposefully sabotaged Hellequin's performance during the Kingdoms annual Autumn Ball. This included gasoline and a lit cigarette.
YES. HE RESORTED TO HOMOCIDE.
Of course he justified it as him being the "screw up" he has always been.

No one really found out it was actually him, nor did anyone bother to find out since everyone just summed it up as a simple accident.
Hellequin didn't die, but it did leave him with burns all over his face and body. The long recovery time of his wounds and the permanent disfigurement cause him to lose his place in The King's court. After a few months no one had heard from Hellequin, and he was presumed dead. Pierrot wouldn't see him again for quite a while.

Pierrot took Hellequin's place for a little while, but it didn't take long for the King to realize that he didn't actually have any real talent. He begged the king to let him continue working in the castle, and with help from the princess (who felt bad for him) the king obliged. However, instead of having a place in the court, he was reassigned to be a servant. And though he hated the fact that now he had serve others, it was better than being kicked out and having to go live back with his mother.
He continued to try and pursue The Princesses' love, but by then she had already gotten married, and he hardly ever got to see her.

His life soon became uneventful and monotonous. Waking up early, doing his job, going to sleep. He soon came to realize that everything he did to his brother was for nothing. The princess got married, and he didn't have the talent to stay in the court. He overreacted and it lead to him ruining his brothers life. Having already felt guilty before, as time went by it began to weigh on him. He toned down his pessimism and over all edginess by a lot. You know, he learned to act like a normal, boring, adult. Better late than never I guess.

Then King Herla came to visit the Kingdom. And with him came Hellequin (uhhh, this is the first time Hellequin should be used, the ones before are placeholders for his past name), his court Jester.

Uhhh will finish bio later

Addendum:
Pierre was born to a duo of acrobats who worked in a traveling circus. When he turned 6 years old, his parents expected him to join them in their routine. And even though Pierre practiced with his parents, he rarely got to actually preform in front of a crowd because of how awful he was, he was a child after all. This may have caused his parents to already begin to see him as a disappointment, and his clumsiness did not help at all.

When his younger brother, Hellequin, was born just a year later, Pierre hope that it would help bring their attention and expectations away from him.

And it did. A little too well.

Hellequin began to show interest in acrobatics as soon as he was able to walk, which greatly pleased his parents. It was clear by then which child was their favorite, much to Pierre's dismay. While his brother was being constantly praised, he would always be told that he needed to step it up.

Pierre tried his best to please and impress his parents. He would use his free time to practice doing the basics, and improving his balance, he would give his all during their rehearsals, and he would try to continue to work, even if he injured himself. Nothing came from it, so he eventually gave up and stopped trying.

When he turned 12, he finally got the courage to ask his father if he could be something other than an acrobat. His father was not too happy with that, but he agreed. But as punishment for quitting, his father forced him to work as a clown instead. He tried to object, but he knew there was no changing his father's mind.

His first day was one of the most humiliating day's of his life.

Pierre would try to get his father to change his mind, but he never did. Eventually he became used to being laughed at and being a clown. That didn't mean that Pierre would embrace what he was now. He absolutely detested being a clown. So he never tried to improve his showmanship, or charisma because he knew if he wasn't entertaining, no one would even bother with him. His parents saw this as him just slacking off and being lazy, but they wouldn't bother saying anything because it didn't really affect their show.

Hellequin and Pierre's relationship was... Meh? Pierre was still jealous of all of the positive attention and praise his brother had, but he hid it well and still got along OK. They just never spent much time together. Hellequin was always busy, and Pierre was always sneaking off to do other things *cough* smoke*cough*. It wasn't until their father died when the would come together again as a huge opportunity for them came up.

Pierre's obsession with fire began in school when he learned that with magic you could create fire out of thin air. Because he was a common elf, being able to use magic was highly unlikely and it would be a waste of time to bother trying. BUT the flames entranced him. It was all he could think about. So, he tried. He tried for many years, until finally able to summon a small flame all on his own. Once he was able to create small flames, he began to impulsively set fires. Usually he did this because creating the flame helped calm him down, and setting something on fire gave him a high. This often lead him to be caught by authorities because he'd stay and watch the fire. After he burned Hellequin, he began to suppress his urges to set things on fire. The only things he would set on fire were his cigarettes, which is why the amount he smoked a day drastically increased.

Abilities:
Pierrot's mime form appears whenever he is overwhelmed by sadness. Too much emotion causes his mask to partially take over. This form is significantly stronger that his normal form. All that power goes to waste because in this form he is a complete and utter emotional mess. Either too busy crying, or he is too depressed to really do anything. When he is in this form, he loses any color he had, and is no longer able to speak in any way (sorry telepathy). Later on he'll figure out how to actually make this form useful.

His clown counterpart is like Pierrot's mime form except instead of sadness, it's anger. The Devil is responsible for this form since he gave Pierrot terrible anger management advice for dealing with his repressed anger (he has A LOT of it). The advice?

"Don't hold it back, let it out"

His mask took this statement a little too literally.
In this form he wants nothing more than to commit comical violence. Usually with fire or explosives. This violence is directed at whoever or whatever cause him to lose his temper in the first place. Unlike his mime form, which goes away after the mood has subsided, his clown form will not go away, even if the root of his anger is gone. After his initial goal is completed (aka: The person or thing is now destroyed beyond repair, aka DEAD), his next goal is to cause as much destruction as possible. Intervention from The Devil or someone Pierrot is close to is required in order to snap him out of it.

Pierrot really struggles controlling this form because he has always had issues with dealing with his anger. While when he was younger he would take out his anger on others, usually strangers, after he nearly killed Hellequin he began to repress his anger out of fear that he would continue to hurt the ones he loved . Because you know, hearing your brothers screams of agony as he burns alive in a fire you purposely set will do that to you.

Even so, the clown form rarely comes out due his great repression skills, which in turns makes his clown form angrier because he can't express his anger in peace.

❄️Cold Winter Night by Sarah Elizabeth DuVal❄️
_______________________________________________
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX It's on cold winter nights such as this,
When memories fill my mind of what seems so long ago.
I miss the old friendships of those who have gone away,
And I wish I could renew.
On cold winter nights such as this,
It is then that a touch comes back to me,
One from long ago,
And there it lingers,
In my memory,
Leaving me to wonder,
If I had dreamed it all.
On this cold winter night,
When your touch comes back to me.

As the night approaches the dusty desert of the Abiding Boneyard, the air grows cold. As you breathe your breath can be seen in the putrid air. Sleeping during the day, Asra awakes at dusk to marvel in the chilly, dark side of the Plaguebringer's domain. She is rarely seen by other dragons, but in the morning the snowy footprints -now melting- she left behind are telltale signs she was there.
