Kekki is a healer dragon, and is determined to help dragons survive the injuries and diseased that would be impossible to recover from. When she noticed her paitents were dying, Kekki was determined to get the power she needed to save future paitents. She looked all over the land, but found no one able and willing to grant her this power. As she gave up, a witch named Nelanari turned to her and offered Kekki a deal. She would give Kelli great healing power- for a price. Nelanari told Kekki the terms of the contract- in exchange for the power Kekki seeked, Nelanari wanted permission to devour souls through Kekki’s body. Nelanari then blasted Kekki with a bolt of magic, causing Kekki to lose all memory of the terms of the contract. Desperate for the healing power Nelanari had promised, and unaware of the cost, Kekki signed the deal with the witch.

When Kekki returned to her clinic, she found she had the healing power Nelanari had promised. Kekki had not expected Nelanari to fulfill the promise she made! Kekki went from patient to patient, saving lives. But when she got to an young Nocturne dragon, trying to heal him, Kekki lost control of her body. Kekki could only watch as her body killed the Nocturne Hatchling. It was like she was a puppet on a string. When Kekki regained control of herself, she lost all memory of the event, but she noticed blood on her claws. Kekki did not remember what she did to the Nocturne, she knew she had killed some poor dragon, and that Nelanari was likely to blame. Kekki looked outside the window- and saw Nelanari watching her. Kekki walked out the door, and told Nelanari that she should not control her. Nelanari then told Kekki that she had every right to control her- this was part of the contract they signed. Kekki pleaded to go back on the contract, but Nelanari refused. Angry, Nelanari took back the one thing she honestly gave to Kekki without being sneaky- the power to stay oblivious of the tragedies Kekki caused.


Now, Kekki still wishes to help the world, but her contract with Nelanari causes her to end innocent lives. Kekki has a dark sense of humor and has a hard time making others happy as a result.
