Audrey is a familiar sight in the Shifting Expanse - not the lax and carefree north, but the far south of that charged and coppered land where wires cross the sky and dragons never bother to look up for thunderbooms. This is the land where Stormcatcher rules in more than name, where claws strike sparks on concrete and the air itself is static and dark. Power flows through every wire like lifeblood and a failing generator causes more focused panic than the sun blinking out would - if anyone even noticed.

Audrey is a stormcaller. Her vocation is to summon storms and she does it both well and more reliably than most. Power comes easily to her touch; the Fae often brags that her very nerves are copper and her heart a sparkplug. Comments about her eyes are met with either stony silence or a severe shock.

She never stays in the same town for more than a month; her services are in far too high demand for that. Instead, she travels across the south, visiting clans whose storage batteries are dipping into red and summoning their means of restoration. She is well compensated - no one wants to cross the dragon who can call down a lightning strike anywhere she likes.

Personality-wise, Audrey is serious and stern. Even for a Fae, her voice and face give little away. The closest she comes to showing her emotions are when talking about her children and her work. The former she clearly adores, so much that it's hard to understand why she chose this solitary life. Towards the latter, she is passionate but resigned. Sometimes it seems as though she might lay down her mantle, but then another crack of thunder comes down from the roiling sky and she closes her eyes, squares her shoulders, and gets back to work.
