It’s commonly assumed that Wind dragons are the best fliers. They can fly through strong winds and even storms. That does make them the strongest, right?

Maybe.

See, there’s no wind in the Scarred Wasteland. The air is as dead as the bones that litter the land. Hatchlings start learning to fly at a younger age than most, but finish at an older age than most. Their wings must become as powerful as their will to survive.
