Sequoia

Despite being of the Ice flight, Sequoia hates the cold. She is an outsider in the clan; adoring fire and practically worshiping it. Over time, her work in the flames seeped into her physical appearance; the heat first captured in her Gembond and eventually spreading through the rest of her body. Dragons have reported that, when talking about her passion, faint silhouettes of roaring flames seem to flicker within her steely, ice-blue eyes. The cause of this--as well as the orange-brown colors that have seeped into her skin--is unknown. Many theories have circulated through the clan, but none have been redeemed.

Sequoia is always covered in a layer of soot and dirt, and never cares about being neat or organized. Yet, she makes the most intricate and beautiful things in the clan has ever seen. Her masterpieces look so fragile that they would break at the slightest touch, leaving many dragons in awe. Although no one would approach her directly, and most are afraid of her, she is still rather respected among the clan. Regardless, there are rumors that she is insane, as other dragons could occasionally hear her talking to the flames. Furthermore, from the reverent delicacy with which she treats the flames, one would think that she were its loyal servant, not the other way around. However, she is not insane--far from it. She could simply see things, deep inside the flames, that others could not.

Sequoia loves being complimented; however, she does not receive them very often, as most dragons veer away from her.
