HELIA
GARDENER

Helia is a gardener, he has a good connection with plants and nature and his connection to the nature elements simply helps him to strengthen that bond. Many thought when he was younger that he would become quite a good fighter, being able to control plants with such ease and his creativity on how to use his powers seemed to make him quite a good fit for fighting on the front lines. But Helia was never interested in those things. Instead he simply wanted to spend time in his own garden and watch his plants grow and live a simple, honest life.

He found love in another Gaoler named Flora that comes from another clan, a clan that his own seemed to be in conflict with from time to time. At one point when the conflict was at its peak Helia was asked to join the fighters and help defend the clan. That said Helia refused because he didn’t want to risk having to meet his beloved on the battlefield. He got a lot of crap for it and some even accused him of being a traitor but Helia stood steady fast on his decision.

But with time the relationship between the two clans settled and they even made an arranged marriage as a way to keep the peace and give each clan a hostage. Helia was able to be with his beloved a lot more and they were blessed with a lot of kids.

Now days Helia often travels between the two clans to be able to meet his beloved and when he spends his time in his own clan he has a store he runs together with Potato because Helia is the more perceptive and better barter between the two since Potato oftentimes ends up giving away their stock instead of selling it.

Helia also tends to have a frenemy relationship with Arahael where the two often send each other flowers that means different types of insults.

I loved reading the story in Helia's bio. It was awesome of you to connect his experiences and relationships to many dragons in your clan as well as others. This is something I love to see in lore! It was cool to learn a bit about Potato as well... I came very close to putting her on this list. About Helia himself, though, his bold refusal to use his powers to fight for the honor of his clan interested me. What made him choose the path of peaceful gardening instead? What's his relationship with Flora like? You did a great job with his bio: it was fun and thought-provoking to read, and I really wanted to learn more about his character.
