Biography
wip
- not a messenger himself, but works at a sort of post office and messenger rest stop, where messages not given directly to the messengers can be held and given to them when they stop there. the building has an entry room with a desk for dropping off letters and packages, and a door behind the desk leading to a large room filled with sleeping spots and a pantry of food, as well as a large bin for deliveries to be held until someone takes them. through that room is another, smaller one, for the office staff to spend the night in and prepare their own food. the building is built for smaller dragon breeds, so in case of a dragon too large to fit comfortably needs to drop something off or spend the night somewhere, there is a window near the door, and a shed for larger packages outside, and some of the profits from the post fees are spent on giving larger messengers money for lodging elsewhere.
- goes out of their way to provide for the messengers that regularly stay with him, often taking money out of his own pockets to get them a nice dinner as congratulations for completing a dangerous delivery , or a new scarf after they lost theirs last run.
- can speak and translate traditional draconic, but it's difficult for them as with most coatls, and would prefer talon signing to talk to other species. luckily, talon sign is commonly known by both coatl and other species the area, as there's a high coatl population.
- befriended a small herd of arctic hippalectryon near the post after nursing one, his familiar, back to health after an unfortunate run in with someone's jumpy fiendcat. the herd doesn't often stray far from the post, and spend their nights sleeping in the yard. although not a particularly aggressive group, they act as a sort of guard for the post and the outdoor package storage, as their size, beak, and talons are enough to make an unfamiliar dragon think twice about disturbing them.
