Bahamut

Bahamut is the stern and righteous leader of the Precious Metallic dragons, having broken free from the chaotic pestilence of his birth flight to embrace lawfulness and compassion. He has no room for evil in his heart or his companions, and makes his ideals well known. He values knowledge, wisdom, prophecies and songs instead of treasure to add to his hoard, and what material valuables he does accrue he tends to use to help the downtrodden and less fortunate. He is known to magically fool wrongdoers into changing their ways instead of being openly confrontational with them. Although a seemingly peaceful creature, Bahamut will not shy away from righteous justice if stolen from or if his companions are harmed. Many are confused about his chosen partnership with Task, who seems to be his polar opposite. Perhaps he views her as a project; a dragon to tamed and molded to the ways of good and benevolence as he believes all dragons are capable of. Or perhaps she simply keeps him grounded, reminding him of how dragons of a less lofty alignment think and feel, however flawed.
