Frozen Waterfalls prefer colder waters, winter's chill. Although they are identical in color, their personalities are incredibly diverse; some are loud as the thundering falls under which they are born, and others are as silent as freshly fallen snow. Frozen Waterfalls start life in the pool directly under the winter falls which usually have a layer of ice upon their surface. It is said that depending on how thick the ice sheet over the waterfall was, is how reserved or outgoing the hatchling will be, with the quietest hatchlings being born under falls with the thickest sheets.

The hatchlings are precocious and know how to swim the moment they're born into the icy waters. Although they are still dragons with wings, they use their wings for powerful stroking in the water and do not fly. Frozen Waterfalls easily kindle friendships with the creatures of the freshwater rivers and the sea. Depending on their personality, they may have a harder time making friends with other dragons, but once they connect, Frozen Waterfalls are are some of the most loyal friends a dragon could ask for.
