They met on a mountain.
Yvri was looking for one of her lost children, who had run away from the clan. Shyn was looking for a rare crystal on the very peak. When they first met, Yvri was caught off guard. She had never encountered a dragon who didn't have a past, present, or future.

When she first looked into his eyes for the first time, she saw great loneliness that didn't go away after meeting her. His heart was cold.

Shyn knew the mountain well, his beautiful scales hid him in the snow. He was hesitant when he first spotted her, but after Yvri told him her child was missing, he agreed quickly. His sister, Dive, had also disappeared quickly after birth, and this terrified him. Thankfully, she had been found several days later and given to a new master. The experience changed him.

Now, they are a happy couple living in a clan together. :)
