MARSEILLE
I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday

Marseille is the clan’s most capable warrior, even though she is now fully blind. She’s often taking charge of young dragons who wishes to fight and experience battles, aiding their progress and saving them if need be. She’s a clever strategist, determined in her own right as well as one of the most friendly and maternal members of the clan, often organizing events for the clan so that they would have fun. More often than not, these mad schemes go slightly awry.

Also one of the more hotheaded members of the clan, Marseille often gets into scraps and fights however she is also an efficient and effective warrior, the battle ending in her favor more often than not. She forgives easily too.

She is deeply loyal to Odessa, a sentiment which is reciprocated as the two dragons are the closest of friends. She also remains mateless, preferring short relationships, a fact that the more traditional Odessa finds strange and disapproves of. Marseille in turn disapproves of the almost self-punishing, workaholic nature of Odessa and often tries to set her up on dates, many of which Odessa refuses to show up to.

There is a very close bond between these two dragons as Marseille had also been friends with Petra before his disappearance and presumed death. A fellow Arcane dragon and a friend to Petra, it was actually Marseille who had actually set the two of them up believing that the two serious, ambitious fey would hit it off and she was right. During the weeks before Petra’s disappearance, Marseille had been recalled to the borderlands to defend the clan from beastclans. She feels guilty for her inability to protect her fey friends and works far harder now to protect the clan.

Impulsive and rather blunt, she rarely considers the consequences of her actions, preferring to act and then to ask forgiveness later a quality that have gotten her into some trouble before especially with her icy protégée, Petersburg. Marseille often likes pestering her young charge as well visiting his lovely mate, Vladivostok. Her other close friends are her fellow fighter Istanbul, Lisbon and the scientist and newcomer Seattle.

Marseille works alongside Odessa on her project if only to try to help the fey find closure with Petra and joins in searching for the missing fey with Odessa nightly. She personally believes that Petra is dead and that dwelling upon the past is a waste of time, preferring to look outward and onward, yet does not voice that sentiment to Odessa as she cares deeply for her friend and believes (and hopes) that in time Odessa will find peace.
