Kailea Minor Deity Cryptic | Absent-minded | Level-headed Kailea didn't mean to become, it wasn't something he sought out or expected. In fact, it wasn't even really supposed to happen to him, because the entire trip that ended up bringing his ascension about only happened because his friend dragged him along. Granted, Kailea didn't protest, always happy to be included. It wasn't supposed to have been him who walked through that door, but it was and he did and he became. There are things that Kailea cannot unsee. There are things he cannot unlearn. When you hear the fabric of the universe singing to you, bringing tears to your eyes with its unparalleled beauty, can you ever go back to being deaf? Once you hear it, can you ever go back to an ordinary life? The universe cradled Kailea in its center, and he wept as he Saw and Heard and was Known. The moment he opened the door, he Became, and there was never going to be any turning back from that. But there's still a part of him-that-was beneath all of the new Knowing and Perceiving, and so when Kailea stumbled back out of that door he went home. He isn't the same dragon that left, and he might not quite know how to interact with others anymore, but he doesn't mind so badly. |
