Tall shelves mount the walls of Herale's library, stretching to heights impossible to reach without flight. They are lined with a multitude of books, a kaleidoscope of colors from their pristine covers. You marvel at the scale of the whole place - it's almost magical.

The smell of parchment and ink drifts through the air. Cushions dot the floor, with some taken up by dragons with their snouts buried deep into fancy hardcovers. Some lay sprawled atop piles of thick books, and you wonder how one can read so many at a time.

“Are you searching for anything in particular?” A gentle voice murmurs behind you, and you turn to see a Veilspun, pushing a trolley of books in perfect condition. The librarian. “I can recommend books from many genres, whatever piques your interest,” he says softly, gently stacking some of the books on a shelf nearby.

You tell him your favorite genre, and without a word he takes off, returning from the high shelves with three books. Their edges are so polished and finely made, not a single scratch of fiber sticking out from them.

Of course, he’s renowned for being extremely particular of his books being kept in mint condition. Your eyes widen at the sight of them; they are perfect choices! You can't wait to sit in one of the cushions by the sunlit window and start reading.

A smile warms your face as you take the books in your arms. In the magnificence of the place, some gems shone brighter than any pile of treasure - a down-to-earth kindred soul like him.
