FRESHWATER FLOWS THROUGH HIS VEINS.


Tethys is one of the founders of the coves, a wind aspected imperial whose origins lay in lands that flourished along streams and waterfalls. Following one of these rivers down to the humble streams, he found himself at a delta, connected with the ocean. The soft breeze and the untouched lands was all he needed to establish a home here, after traveling along the shorelines and finding beautifully wind-carved cliffs that overlooked the ocean.

Here he eventually met the strange Nepty, a spiral who claimed lived in the sea, yet had green eyes. Drawn to this place as he had been, keenly aware of the intermix of magic here despite being what could be considered the Stormcatcher's territory, they both saw potential in curating this beautiful area. Their fateful meeting completed the natural cycle of the waters that blended here, and thus, they would work together to both till the land and nurture it, eventually coming to bond as a pair and reign over the coves. What would be eventually named Monsoon Coves had never seen a storm until these two met.

Tethys himself is attuned with the wind, but his temperament is peaceful, following the ebb and flow of the lands as well. His large size is not uncommon now that the coves has residents from many walks of life, but he often does not stray too far from the caverns in the cliffs, allowing the much smaller and agile Nepty to do much of the overseeing. In return, however, he will emerge to greet new clutches of hatchlings, and assume responsibility for overseeing their safety as they learn how to survive.
