Sergei is a lively and young Obelisk that basks in attention, bad decisions, and the prosperity of the Rebel City. Despite his seeming lack of social awareness, he is a genuinely kind and generous dragon with just a flare for the dramatic. His speaking mannerisms are closer to that of a frat or surfer boy than the Greek god he likens himself. Though, despite his dull-as-a-sack-of-rocks intelligence, he will beat you in a trivia game about Dionysus. No questions asked.
Born to Corrin and Alessia as one of two sons in a litter of one, Sergei was seemingly doomed to death as he was put up for sale in the auction house for a measly 8,989 treasure. Sergei watched as his brother and sister were sold off and exiled - to whom he can only assume is the Plaguebringer. However, just as he was also bought for fodder, a young coatl came to intercept his buyer. This coatl, whom Sergei came to know as Amelia, was enthralled by his beauty and bought him off of the other buyer. The interaction was short, polite, and kind, and by the end of it, Amelia was excitedly leading Sergei home. As soon as the Obelisk crossed into the threshold of the Rebel City, she announced that this was the only place befitting of such a dragon. You see, Sergei was the first Obelisk in either the Cave Dweller or Rebel City populations - and he was highly anticipated. To celebrate his welcome, he was adorned with grape vines.

After his new start, Sergei opened his own vineyard and winery, where he specializes in muscadine grapes. He became a lover of art and music, but has no real interest in creating his own. After all, running your own winery gives you no real free time to practice music. Doesn't mean he can't buy an ornate, golden harp for accessory in his living room, however. Sergei proceeded to become quite the social butterfly, but due to his upbringing, he has difficulty reading a room or even understanding why he needs to become educated in anything unrelated to his craft. Although, he and Amelia remain friends, and she opened to him the lore of Greek mythos, including a certain god that caught his eye - Dionysus, god of wine and madness. Now he studies the god during most of his limited free time, his fascination resulting in him naming his familiar after the deity.

The outer city of is perfect for Sergei and his vineyard and winery. A large plot of gorgeous and scenic landscape, where in the middle, Sergei lives in what he calls a cottage but is more like if a cottage was built upon and then touched by Midas. Grape vines spiral up the grandiose walls, curling around the windowsills like ornate decorations. Sergei's bedroom has bookshelves full of scrolls and knick-knacks, all leading along the cream-colored wall towards a large fainting couch for a bed. Atop its envy colored cushions, Sergei lays upon many lavish blankets, pillows, comforters, and plushies of the Gladekeeper.
