Biography

Saprolegnia: "...an opportunistic fungal pathogen in freshwater aquariums."

local cryptid that resides in one of the defunct mire testing modules, in which multiple subjects were being exposed to hybrid biological and viral strains. these strains of infection were meant to overtake the subjects more efficiently with the addition of an extreme temperature drop. the presiding tester deemed the project unfit for continuation after one of the subject's eyes began to glow post medical death, and the others went missing.

the corridors surrounding the defunct module have a tendency to frost over of late. the maintenance department has given up on the adjacent heaters; whatever is broken, it's not them.
