Aezelia

Aezelia is the Watcher, the guardian of the deep. She is one mind, and that mind is wired to keep watch over everything and warn the others if anything comes poking around. She takes her job very seriously and she is the first defence against threats/potential threats. If anything starts swimming around the lake, she is the first to know. She burrows into the sand and lies in wait for something to catch her eyes, then she watches very closely to see if the thing does anything suspicious. She won't actually reveal herself until the thing gets near the entrance to the 'Secret Cave', and even then, she won't let herself be seen unless it tries to go in. The creature usually won't survive the encounter.

Her wing markings are bioluminescent and can glow in the dark if she wills them to. She can use them to flash morse code to the other guardians and residents of the cave if necessary.

She is the only one who can and will go near the surface. Her colors and markings make her blend in with the deep water, and so she can go to the surface without being spotted. Very sneaky gal.
