-Twice a wife, and once a mother. She came to the church on the day she became neither. The Rotmother’s embrace has made her no less lonely, but she is at peace with her sorrow.
-She tends each of the graves in the cemetery with the love of a parent. Her family lies not in the living, but in the headstones and the rot that spreads beneath them.
-The incense that burns in the graveyard smells of lavender, and the keeper hums lullabies as she walks.
