Prickly, cynical, sarcastic, blunt; when people meet Callum for the first time, these are the adjectives that are frequently used to describe them. If Callum doesn't like something, they have almost always crafted a snide comment to make about it, and they have few qualms about voicing that opinion. That being said, many of these comments never see the light of day, as Callum is very closed-off and doesn't interact much with other people. This combination of traits has made them somewhat divisive, though most people agree that their snide-ness is harmless.

However, one will find that under specific circumstances, this thorny exterior melts away and becomes careful pragmatism. Callum's greatest passion is chemistry and alchemy, and anyone who gets close enough to them to watch their experiments gets to witness a much different side to them. They also work well under pressure, a trait which is sorely lacking in much of the Company.

While not friendless, Callum is distant with most people. They are Coda's sibling, and are secretly envious of their brother's accomplishments. Though the two have clashed in the past, they are now on decent terms with one another. Their closest friend is their brother Grimm, and the red Skydancer has encouraged Callum to open up and make more friends.
