Skellington is a very kind dragon, but he doesn't talk much, and tends to be somewhat melancholy. It's easy to catch him zoning out or otherwise daydreaming, which has gotten him in trouble a few times when Smaug or Ichabod have caught him with his head in the clouds while he was supposed to be on watch. However, Skellington is also one of the oldest dragons in the clan, and, indeed, one of the more powerful. Social respect tempers most of the reprimands he gets, and everyone knows he's quite set in his ways anyway, being a Tundra, so Hecuba compensates for his dreaminess by usually pairing him off with someone a bit more attentive.
Skellington is always amenable to company if someone makes the offer, but he prefers to be alone, or perhaps share long periods of silence with Rook, who appreciates that kind of thing. Skellington is usually very slow and methodical in everything he does, but he can pack quite a punch if something poses a danger to him or his clan (and, you know, he actually notices it.) No one has ever seen him angry. They kind of don't want to; it would feel wrong.
Skellington occasionally makes pilgrimages back to his homeland, alongside Bertilak and Philippa, and he used to do so with his own former mate, Thumbelina, before she died. He still misses her, and although Brandy has made enough successful advances on him to truthfully call him her mate, Skellington is not actually that interested in her, so they spend little time together.
