It had been eons since he had last stepped foot on the surface of a world. He could sense the ripples of his presence echoing back to him as if the world itself was begging for his touch to sculpt it. He gave a smirk and flexed his claws, for how could he not bend and sculpt this world into making his dreams into his reality?

The first thing he did was to pluck his extra eyes off his body and craft his first nine disciples, the Oculi, and set them out to be his far-reaching eyes and claws. Soon the world started changing, lust forests grew where once there was deserts, mountains rose from plains and seas, and the world shook with growth and soon plants and various creatures began to appear and flourish.

Pleased Somnovem chose the highest mountain and made himself a lair and fell into a deep sleep.
