Biography
Salix is a flirty and outgoing coatl, who loves to push her way into people's personal bubbles. She's very likable, even when she does things that are less so. She's extremely charismatic and can get almost anyone to like her. She's confident and fun, too. What more could anyone ask for in a friend? There seems to be nothing bad about her.
But it isn't all sunshine and roses for her. Salix gets lonely very easily. It's why she has so many friends. But at the same time, she's very guarded. She's not inclined to just let people in. Too many friendships turn sour, and Salix would rather not invest the time and energy it requires before they break down. Instead she learns a bit first before throwing herself into it. She can become very clingy in a good relationship, and the most loyal person you'll ever meet. She'll respect everything you ask her to, and even the things you don't. She'll never share your secrets, and will try her best to do everything asked of her. But she's also very vulnerable once she's let her guard down, and hurting her when she trusts you can almost guarantee she'll never trust you again.
Her very best friend is Paradise, a contrastingly shy coatl with much lighter colors. They're like two sides of the same coin, and they're rarely apart. They trust each other fully, and always help the other whenever they need it. When Salix ran into Paradise with a few other dragons, she was instantly interested in the cute little coatl. She took an instant liking to Paradise when they spoke a bit, and Salix decided to follow her around. Paradise started trying to avoid her, clearly not being much of one for social interaction. But Salix wouldn't let that be the end of it. She wanted to befriend the coatl, who seemed like an excellent friend, despite that she didn't seem to want one herself. Neither one will explain exactly what happened, but they went home together and quickly became inseparable. Despite Paradise's dislike of anyone else in her space, she allowed Salix to sleep in her nest with her, and live in her den. And she was never much of one for touching, but she seemed happy to let Salix rub up against her, and would sometimes do the same in return. People mistake their relationship as a romantic one, but neither one feels that way, despite that Salix can often be heard making flirty remarks to her friend. She wouldn't entirely mind if it became romantic, but she's certainly not going to initiate that, even if she did develop romantic feelings for Paradise. The friendship is far more important.
