Eldritch eyes gaze out from a lithe, dancing body. Pharohdancer stares at the Chainlink Jeweler as it hovers over her hoard of rare treasures. As a collector of ancient relics and valuable artifacts, it’s no wonder that she caught the eye of the greedy little creature. She growls at it threateningly, hoping that will be enough to scare it off. It only lets out a determined squeak and digs itself deeper into one of her treasure piles. Pharohdancer sighs. If intimidation doesn’t work, perhaps bribery is the next logical step.
“Look,” she whispers, “shiny.” She holds up a gem-encrusted bracelet inscribed with stunning hieroglyphics. The Jeweler’s beady eyes follow the bracelet back and forth as the dragon waves the treasure in front of its face.
“Give me the cup and I’ll give you this one,” she bargains.
The beast considers for a moment, then shakes its head, clutching the arcane chalice closer to its chest. Pharohdancer throws up her hands in exasperation.
“Fine, fine! Guess I’ve got myself a new Familiar.”
The Chainlink Jeweler screeches in victory. Immediately, it begins organizing her jewels into neater piles. Perhaps this partnership won’t be so bad after all.
