Phandrance

Not much is known about Phandrance, other than that he was brought in by Flintfire after narrowly escaping being exalted by his old clan. His glaring silence was enough to let others know that he didn't want to be bothered, and that was the end of that.

He was granted a room at Winter's Edge, the clan's inn. No one expects much of him, but he is friendly towards Ceciliana and Palette, and sometimes helps with chores around the inn. Any conversation he starts with them is mainly one-sided; he rarely speaks. Few have heard his deep voice. Those who have might argue that it is rather calming to listen to, however short it may be heard.

Despite being incredibly antisocial and preferring to be in the background of many of the clan's general affairs, Phandrance has shown himself to be a sturdy fighter. The cleaver he carries around is enough to ward away any of the clan's members, although Aqualia has noticed that the way Phandrance wields said cleaver is like that of a master. After witnessing the Imperial fight off a school of Maren while completing a task for Palette, Aqualia praised Phandrance's skills and even invited him to be a part of the Coliseum team, to which Phandrance refused.

As weeks passed, however, Phandrance began to realize that his simple, quiet life of working sporadically at Winter's Edge wasn't exactly satisfying. A twinge of excitement sparked into his claws for the first time in a long, long while, and Phandrance felt something from his past tugging at him, begging him to join Snowbalt's Coliseum team and become one of them. Aqualia shrieked in glee at Phandrance's soft request to join her.

Since then, he's been further honing his skills with his cleaver and even learning how to harness Plague magic, the element he was born with. When he previously thought he was always meant to be ignored and unaccepted, he felt right at home with Snowbalt's team: the quirky leader herself, the aggressively protective warrior Jasnah, the keen-eyed strategist Caramelite, the eccentric Corrosion, the fierce melee master Aqualia. Sometimes, they're joined by the healer Moonflight, who imparts wisdom and soothes their wounds from time to time.

For the first time in his life, Phandrance felt... good. He felt he was truly needed in his new clan, and he takes this as a sign that he was meant to belong here, not back in the clan that just wanted to use him.
