Luminescence

Luminescence is a male Coatl who travelled far and wide seeking permanent refuge. Despite being of the Arcane Flight, Luminescence spent the majority of his life in the depths of the Shadow Flight, where he conquered rest and sleep. Despite that, none of the other inhabitants of the Village of Storms have ever seen him actually cast any of this so-called "Dream Magic" that he spent years learning. He claims to be able to summon and walk through dreams, and keep nightmares at bay, however many of the other dragons used to simply scoff and laugh. Used to. Tired of being ignored and made fun of, Luminescence stormed away one night off to find somewhere else to go, and it was then that the nightmares held at bay for so long came rushing through. Breaking their way into the mind and sweeping over the entire town. Luminescence arrived back a week later to find a village of eternally drained dragons, where every sleeping moment meant returning to fits of bad dreams. Yet as soon as Luminescence strode back into town, the nightmares vanished like an aura. He remains in the town happily, grateful that the town finally realizes that the work he puts in actually means something. There are still those that believe he caused the nightmares himself to prove a point, or that he had cursed them somehow. These rumors are not to be taken seriously by anyone with a functioning brain.
