where even the ground itself is burnt to ash, one may not expect it to double as fertile land which rivals even that of the viridian labyrinth. his little corner of the crypt is able to maintain its mild temperatures for plant growth thanks to his constant surveillance- and occasionally the help of his mentor, ivern.

despite a tedious profession, rieux takes just about any chance to leave this lair.. often with the excuse of research purposes or carrying out his duties in the silver brigade- he's somehow always coming back with yet another plant.
