"Ice cold"
He was a traitor. A savior. A shadow in the frost blizzard. Some called him the last hope while others feared losing their mane color. Very few want to meet him for the last battle of their life to earn glory of defeating a monster.But why they had such interest in him?
He is a weredragon, being able to change between 2 different breeds by his will, and this is how it all happened.
Not being able to keep his endless selfish nature to own the world, he asked the dark witch, Etzeult, to turn him into powerful being - the legendary east-themed dragon breed called Imperial. After reaching her home and paying a very little bag of gems, Sakeste told her his plan. Etzeult's house had an unusual enchantment where all dragons have equal height ratio.
- "An Imperial? Are you kidding me?? I'm not a magician or card trickster!"
- "And you call yourself the most powerful witch? What kind of joke are you then not being able to do simple morph change.." - He was about to leave her house.
She became very angry with such reply. She indeed was the most powerful guardian dragon witch in the area for many hundreds kilometers around.
- "The last Imperial scroll breedchange has been used thousands years ago! Yet.."
Sakeste was about to close the door, but the last silent phrase Etzeult said brought him back.
- "..yet I can mix your blood with already existing Imperial, if you find one. You will be able to keep both forms."
The fire in his eyes lit up. The cold fire of greed and violence.
- "WHERE? WHERE CAN I FIND ONE?"
- "Calm down, Sakeste. You know none of them will let you take part of Imperial without reason. If you find at least a single scale of dragon you want to become, I will try to do the ritual to change your nature"
He ran away. Nobody could stop Sakeste searching for Imperial scale. Many tried to prevent him from finding a living imperial, but all tries went into nothing till he actually found a single female which was attacked by 2 Roc birds near their nest. Looks like she really needed some help.
-"Thank you, brave wildclaw. These Rocs barely ate me alive, you saved me!" - she lets him go - "You know, it wouldn't be good if I went inside their stinky, huge tummies. Ew, feels like I can still smell them! *sniffs herself* Oh, it's from me.. By the way, I'm Phantasma! And you?"
The crystal cold dragon never had hugs since his childhood. His mother hugged him with the same warmth this female Imperial did. He looked at the sword in his paws, and chest of Phantasma being so close. So easy to get a scale.. "I have some time.. Maybe knowing more about imperials will help me to mix better with actual species once I turn into one of them." - he thought, hugging her back.
2 week passed. Sakeste and Phantasma got close to eachother. She left her partner, Jett, because he joined the group of bad dragons called "Wintercold collectors". They collect dragon scales (either lost by shedding or in battle) wearing white clothes, hoping for Sakeste to notice them and searching for him. But he couldn't let Phantasma to know who he is. He takes a decision to leave her for her own safety.
- "I will miss you"
- "Me too, my little Snowball" - Phantasma hugged him for the last time. Indeed, it was last time they ever saw eachother. At least thats how it looked in her eyes. - "Why can't you stay with me? Why do you have to fly back to the Boreal?"
- "You know I can't leave my family alone. I'm the only one who can protect them. It wll be too dangerous for you there, my native clan hunts down Imperials and they mastered it in every aspect. I can't let you to be hurt. But I promise, one day I will find you." - A perfect lie has been told to her ears, but she believed him with all her heart.
- "I have something for you" - Female brought from her bag a little necklace with her scale in the middle. It's white gradient shined in sunset lights. Something wild in him woke, but weakened by love. Sakeste took the necklace and flew away in a rush.
- "I will come back! I promise to you, Phanti, I PROMISE!"
A month, two, three passed. It was a year since Sakeste left her alone. She was coming back to the slope near the ocean every evening to meet him again, but Phantasma was losing her hope. One day, when she completely got lost in sad, heartbroken girl was coming back home. In the bushes, a figure of frozen-skinned male Imperial with ice-cold eyes appeared holding white rose in his mouth...
Current place in the clan
Since Phantasma was already in the clan and knew Lyvir well, she decided to stay here. Sakeste stays with her, near the Northen island jungles. He is the one who cares about her with cost of his life, and will protect Phantasma no matter what. He often goes for expeditions to the jungles to find anything what could help him to find his old home.Sakeste usually walks around with katana equpped. He protects clan members and does not let intruders pass through the border line. He also hunts for food with Lyvir and Quazarix as his party members, even though he doesnt really like the presence of the last one mentioned. Sakeste doesn't transform into Imperial as he doesnt want dragons other than Phantasma to know about this.
