The locket that still radiates love, even though the photo inside has long since dissolved;
The mask of a plague doctor, who risked life and limb to help dragons he didn’t even know;
The protractor of a student, tarnished by rust and boredom.
The armor of a warrior, stinking of fear…

All these emotions together in one place.

It was inevitable that they’d take on a life of their own.
