BroiledSalmon

Ashmane was at home one day, preparing dinner, waiting for his mate, Stardust, to come home. It had probably been a long, stressful day for her, so he wanted to prepare her favorite food, fish. Specifically, broiled salmon. He decided that the most efficient way to cook would be to set the salmon on the grill while he prepared other things, such as side dishes. He set it on the grill as planned, and turned his back to grab some rosemary and a lemon. Only, when he turned back towards the grill, the salmon was gone, and a baby Mirror sat next to the grill, looking up at him with puppylike eyes. It very closely resembled a broiled salmon, with its fleshy color and its black stripes that looked like grill marks. Ashmane's immediate reaction was to yell;
"WHAT THE FU-"

Ashmane and Stardust happily took in BroiledSalmon as their child, though! Stardust tried to suggest a different name, but BroiledSalmon was insistent on its name staying just the way it was. Eventually, Ashmane suggested; "Why don't we just call it Sal?" Everyone agreed, and that was that.

BroiledSalmon is so. goddamn. scary. It appears out of nowhere, stares at you, and it's super fast. It's adorable and graceful, though! Fun fact; if you yell "FISH FLOP!!!!!!!" at it, it'll do a weird dance, that kind of looks like a fish flopping around, just standing up. Despite being ******* terrifying, Sal is actually pretty helpful. It's a master at cooking, especially seafood dishes. Not just fish, ALL seafood. It's also a walking thermometer, it can shove its claw at something and tell you what temperature it is. "OUCH!" means 110 Fahrenheit and above.

Sal frequently appears in others' dreams, and it always seems to be taking part in strange things. By strange, I mean obscure, stupid, and definitely not practical. It always offers for you to join, and if you do join, it takes you to the goddamn backrooms. What? Well, you have a 50/50 chance of waking up.
