Biography
Nightstorm was born on a stormy night, and was named very appropriately. Or lazily, depending on how you look at it. He was the youngest of seventeen children, and this lead to him developing an adventuring wandering personality.
He had a loving childhood in a clan along the Wiretangle Walk, even with his busy parents. His parents did care for him, as did many others, but he still felt alone and detached. One day, he felt his thirst for adventure and sights to see, so under the cover of a stormy night, he left to see the world with all his eyes.

[a/n: why did I have so much fun writing that, also I literally don't know how to respond to this thread without writing a whole novel lol but tbh this is helping me not procrastinate on lore and come up with more ideas so I'm obsessed.]

There are stories everywhere, in the rocks, in the tree; in rubbles of coliseums," Nightstorm slipped a bag off his tail and dumped it out before you, a mass of trinkets and materials spilled out into a large pile. For how small the bag looked, you wondered how he managed to cram such a hefty sum of objects into it. He sorted through the pile before finally pulling out a vial full of blue substance. |
| Nightstorm stared at the necklace with a warm grin, "I had ventured to the Scarred Wastelands, which was by far one of the most difficult terrains I've traversed and certainly not the best smelling either. Unfortunately, I was thrown off of my original path and got a bit lost. See, getting lost is apart of adventuring but in that moment it seemed everything that could've gone wrong, went wrong," Nightstorm sorted through his pile of trinkets and grabbed a compass that was covered with a strange solidified green substance. The compass looked as if it was corroded with some strange acid, "not only did my compass get hit with whatever the strange excrement was but it also had managed to soak my wings." |

| He stretched his wings and pointed to the now healed, but scarred burn marks with his tail, "at that point I thought I was a goner, until I heard a very unenthused voice call out towards me. I certainly wasn't expecting to see a fae, a terrifying one at that, coming to my rescue but she quickly applied some strange substance to my wings which evaporated the remaining substance and stopped the burning. She took me back to what she called her 'witch coven' and as it turned out, she was their High Priestess, the head of the group. The members were excited to show me around, show me their duties and share their magic with me." |
| "I won't bore you further with the rest of the details but—" Nightstorm gripped the vial once more with a smile, "to this day they are still my greatest friends, family even..." Nightstorm's voice trailed off and he grew silent, his joyful expression deadened and he drifted into thought. After several moments, he quickly cleared his throat, "about returning back to my family... in Wiretangle Walk—" Nightstorm paused, contemplation spreading across his face briefly before he continued, "truthfully, I haven't visited since I left. My family is great and all but I never truly belonged there. I think they believed there was more for me out in the world, as do I. But..." His face finally broke into a smile, "I think it's about time for me to drop in and catch up, I'm sure some of my sibling have had adventures of their own and I'd love to hear about them." |

| Nightstorm grabs his bag and jams all the materials and trinkets he dumped before you back into his tiny bag. He gives you a slight pat on the shoulder with a smile, "thanks for listening to me friend, I must continue on my adventures once more. I hope we cross-paths yet again in the future and I wish you safe ventures." He turned to leave but paused once more glancing back at you, he opened his bag again and started rummaging through it before throwing a figurine towards you, "a good luck charm for your travels, maybe this can help you start your collection!" And with that, he took off. |
