The day I moved to the starfall isles, and saw all my dragon companions settle down their nests, I felt lonelier than ever. I decided to put off bulding my tent, and went to explore the new land. Of course I ended up in the shoreline, because my heart always seeked the sea when in distress. But I wasn't alone. A coatl dragon was resting on the beach, seemingly unaware of my presence. I got closer to the creature, never in my life had I seen such gorgeous turquoise feathers. I got startled when I noticed the dragon opening one of his eyes, and inmediately fixed his sight upon me. He then stretched his neck. I didnt know how he would react to my presence, so I took some steps backwards. "I was leaving, no need to worry" I say with a shaky voice. The dragon lowered one of his crests and tilted his head. "Did I scare you?" His voice was suprisingly sweet and masculine. I shook my hands and kept walking backwards,
until I tripped on a random rock that I obviously didnt see. The dragon inmediately sprinted towards me. "Im dead", I thought to myself. But all he did was pick me up with his human-like hands, and put me back on my feet. "Be careful." The coatl told me in a lowly tone. I couldnt hold back a blush, and of course he noticed it. He put his neck close to me, inviting me to pet his feathers. I reclutantly petted him, and god if he was soft. He felt like the comfiest pillow of all Sornieth! None of my coatl friends had such plumage. I instinctly hugged him while rubbing my nose on him. I could hear the dragon chuckle tenderly. "Feel free to visit me whenever you want. It gets lonely in here, and a pretty lady like you could make me great company." The coatl said after laying on the sand again. He made me feel flustered again, normally dragons didnt say such things to- anyways, I sat on the sand next to him and laid my back on his side. "Well... I want to right now..." I said, letting myself be vulnerable around a stranger coatl that was overly nice to me.
