Avaritia

Glowing Waters are a subspecies of bright-colored Mirrors and Faes that glow even in the blackest of waters. With their luminescence, these small yet swift dragons act as messengers, delivering news and goods from deep dark to the shallow shores. Using their bright tails to signal to those far and wide that they bring news and in times of dire need, acting as beacons of when danger is near.

While these dragons may be judged for their humble occupation, they are proud to act as ambassadors to the rest of the world for the Water Flight. But do not doubt that they will take advantage of every enterprising opportunity that arises. For those that are not considered a child of the Tidelord and with no affinity to his waters, the Glowing Waters may also act as guides into the trenches. For their varied services, a dragon may ask for a sparkling gem, a future favor, or something more mischievous.

This subspecies lives in the swarms of their large families that act much like merchant houses. Each lineage with its own reputation that denotes the reliability of its service and the level of anonymity afforded to its service. Each merchant family paying respect to the Messenger Guild established by the founding pair.
