History
The scavengers had been looking through an abandoned den, inside they found a nest with only one plague egg in it. The egg was brought back to the clan and was settled in one of the open nests for it to continue to incubate, the egg worried the caretakers as they began to worry that the egg would never hatch, finally it hatched in the middle of the night when no one was looking. A bright colored Mirror hatchling was born, chirping loudly and looking around for her parents. Once she got used to walking she began to run all over the place, it was hard for the caretakers to keep an eye on her. She was a curious hatchling that always got into trouble, what you really needed to be careful of was her bite. That poor rat didn’t stand a chance while her venomous saliva got into it’s open wounds made from her teeth...
Many Dragons were unsure of the hatchling when her venomous saliva was discovered, but others say it as a possible mutation. Dragons weren’t naturally born with such a thing, so it being a mutation was the only possible explanation for the bizarre ability of the hatchling. Sadly her venomous bite scared away any possible adoptive parents for her, a hatchling as rambunctious as her can sometimes bite others unexpectedly. Her venomous saliva did however catch the attention of those who study the fascinating mutations that The Scarred Wastelands can cause. Her venomous saliva was found to be similar to Bonepriest venom, but was very acidic which comes in handy for making painful brews that can be used in battle. So far the collected venom has been used to cover the tips of swords, spears, and arrows. While It is nice that Flavescens’ venom has a use, she still wanted something more to do. After all, once supply for her venom was restocked, what was she supposed to do after? Well her need for always wanting to help was answered when she took on the role to be the clan’s event planner. The celebration of the clan’s anniversary had magnificent bonfires, great feasts, eerie but joyful music, and plenty of terrific stories to celebrate how far they had come as a clan. Decorating for the event became something Flavescens fell in love with immediately, She often commissions Tricholoma for specifically needed decorations that involve bones. She may have scared her fellow clan members when she was a hatchling, but she is still seen as family to them, she’s referred to as the “crazy aunt who goes mad with the decorations during the holidays”. She does an amazing job every year and she makes delicious pies that make your mouth water just from the smell. |
