Biography

She was locked in a mockery of a staring contest, her pale red eyes staring into his frosty white irises. With his gaze glued in her direction, she can almost convince herself that he can see her. Of course he can! Why else would he be so focused?
Thistle suddenly jerked to the right, leaping clear from Uriel's view.
His gaze didn't move, didn't so much as flicker.
She sighed-a soundless poof of air.
Turning away from him, she now knew what has gotten him so enraptured (An exaggeration? Yes, but she didn't care). Murmer, the female guardian who watched over her, was occupied with helping Oresa, the clan's matriarch, tend to her eggs.
Of course! It all made sense now.
The imperial was worried that her friend would step out of line. Thistle bristled. How
dare he assume such! They had been with the clan for at least a few days, and Murmer had done nothing to imply she meant them ill-will. The ghostly skydancer swatted at his whiskers, her claws sliding easily through them, though she smirked when his nose twitched ever-so-slightly.
At least he noticed that.
Glancing back over her shoulder, she meets Murmer's stare and smiles warmly, eagerly waving to her friend-her guardian. Said guardian smiled back, though her gaze was fixed on Uriel, so that it would not seem so strange that she was smiling in Thistle's direction. Behind her, the imperial grunts in response, though she knows he is not smiling back. Murmer resumed her work shortly after, listening to whatever Oresa had to say while she examined the eggs for anything odd.
Movement.
Thistle turned once again to Uriel, noting with both curiosity and surprise that he has shifted his cold eyes elsewhere, seemingly onto her. Once again, their eyes meet and she's engaged in another staring contest.
This time, she won't lose.

Murmer's Charge

An ethereal presence amongst a cluster of -very much alive- dragons. Little, if anything, is known of her past in the land of the living.

Personality:

"Sometimes... I feel as though I'm being watched...Strange, isn't it?"-Regina

Though mute, Thistle has shown herself to be extremely expressive of her emotions, often using broad and extravagant gestures to convey these feelings to Murmer. No one but Murmer can actually see her, though that doesn't stop them from occasionally feeling her presence. Fortunately, most of the other dragons have simply shrugged it off. Though, sometimes Thistle likes to think that the white-eyed imperial, with his sharp glare, might actually be able to see her.

She's a curious soul, and often sticks her nose in business it doesn't belong. However, Thistle attempts to justify this ease-dropping by formulating plans to solve whatever problem she stumbles across. Naturally, Thistle must employ the help of Murmer to execute these plans. Nonetheless, it's worth all the time and effort to see their most recent clan members at ease and happy.

Thistle, just like Murmer, wonders why she was chosen to be the guardian's charge. Though, so much time has past with so little answers, that Thistle is more concerned with finding her friend a proper clan and lair to call home than find out why she was chosen as her charge. Still, to find out would be a very huge plus, and perhaps it would put her most at ease with herself, as she still does not know what ties her to this existence.

Former profile (written by Chriture, the awesome person who gave me this dragon!)
Thistle is the ghost charge of Murmer. No one really knows why the gods decided that a ghost needed a Guardian, but they're both trying to figure it out.
