Arcanum

A spontaneous manifestation of powerful Arcane magic. Her very presence distorts reality in ways many dragons find unsettling, but she pays this no mind - after all, when you can bend the world to your whims as easily as breathing, so what of the problems of mortals? Arcanum is a very different kind of dragon, power notwithstanding. For one, she absolutely despises that she is limited to a physical form, and spends her days researching for ways to achieve her dreams of ascending to the astral plane. In this she is spectacularly selfish, refusing pleas from the Spellweavers to lend the clan her power.

Many of the clan's dragons do not understand why Arcanum is allowed to stay despite contributing little to nothing. The wiser ones realize there is not a single dragon in the clan strong enough to drive her away, and so she stays. Only those who are part of the Circle know of her help, inadvertent as it is - owing to her very nature, remnants of magic linger where she dwells and are gathered to be used in various spellcrafting. These 'scraps', as Arcanum calls them, are of no particular use to her and she cares not if they're collected by others.

Has a rather pleasant demeanor - but this is a mask, used only to reassure other dragons. 'She smiles, but it's only twisting her mouth'. She finds little use in social niceties, finding small talk banal. Also doesn't understand things like metaphors, finding them confusing - if speaking to her, it's best to get straight to the point.
