THE HATCHERY
While their parents have retired from the Hatchery, they still nest occasionally due to their beliefs. One such occasion is the Starfall Celebration! Ava was born with an Arcane strength that his brothers (even his own father!) could only dream of... or so he thought. After what felt like ages of hiding a big part of himself out of fear of hurting his family, his brother Elias opened up to him about his own prowess. All this time? There had been two of them, all this time?! While Elias decided to cowardly continue hiding his abilities for Avery's sake, Ava could not stand the idea of not being able to be who he was meant to be anymore! (Especially now that he knew he was not the only one.) His resentment towards Elias for still hiding, and towards Avery for not being born with magic, grow by the day. But in truth... he is just angry that he was never given room to be himself. |
