▹ HISTORY
Samael is a dragon who prefers the darkness and shadows over the ever-so-bright sunlight. They would rather hide away in the cool shade than be forced outside into the hot sun, it is just too much for them. They do enjoy friendships and have even taken a bondmate, but they cannot stand going out during the day for longer than an hour or so.

Being a dragon who doesn’t look much like any other, Samael is afraid to be seen around the hatchlings of the lair. They think that they will scare them if the hatchlings were to see their bones and milky white eyes. Samael is even afraid their own hatchlings would shun them once they grew up and realized how ugly their parent is.

Samael has not lost their sight, but their eyes are weak. Aside from recognizing dragons up close and reflecting light, her eyes aren’t of much use to them. Luckily, their husband, Amendial is there to help Samael with whatever they may need.

A long time ago, Samael dreamt of becoming a stage-dragon, performing in musicals and dancing in front of a crowd- but ever since their body began to fail, Samael has resigned to becoming a stay-at-home dragon and has made peace with their fate.
