Ranger is a mercenary for the Via Starless hired by Prelude to obtain valuables from bounties across Sornieth for Prelude to trade off or sell in exchange for a handsome paycheck and a place to stay. Ranger has a similar contract with Clockwork. She doesn't speak often but when she does she's direct and straight to the point. She's very confident and boastful about her skills and job and doesn't take insults about either very well. She's quick-tempered and incredibly reclusive, often doing jobs alone and avoids gatherings and big social crowds.

Ranger often uses stealth and speed in her jobs and is incredibly sly, creative, and adaptive to just about any environment, and often spends her off time properly studying, exploring, and writing down beneficial areas, shortcuts, and hotspots throughout Sornieth to aid her in said jobs. She's also a relatively decent craftsman, creating the very bow, quiver, and dagger she carries around and the clothes she wears. with quick reflexes and a key for environmental analysis, she can get the job done quickly and carefully without much issue.
