SummerLace is considered a strange fae, whispering to people unseen. The dragons have grown accustomed to her one-sided conversations and even join in when they find an interesting topic. A common companion of her chats is a creature named Muriel, described as a lanky spiral that chatters on about the right plants to cook with. Another a toad named Astra, who loves to ride along her while she works among the ivy and floral of gathering medicinal herbs for the clan.

Her mates are more commonly the two that will talk with the spirits around their tiny fae. Liquor says they see them as well, but sadly cannot hear what they say. So Summerlace usually has to act as translator for the two dragons. Kurima often talks with the spirits more than Liquor does with Summerlace.
