Maria is a dragon who has many regrets in her life. Ever since she was young, her home village was rampant with dragons in a mafia, even resulting in the deaths of her parents. The trauma of her home life made Maria vengeful and bitter, particularly giving her a twisted view of good, bad, and justice.

As soon as she was old and strong enough, Maria spearheaded a rebellion against the mafia, taking over the village in bloody combat. Yet, her rule was not one of restoring peace; Instead, Maria harshly judged any and all wrongdoers for even the smallest of mistakes, her punishments causing the village population to dwindle. She waged war against neighboring dragons for their own perceived "crimes" in Maria's eyes.

Soon, her own rebellion swiftly turned against her and all dragons teamed up to drive her away.

The young Obelisk has since taken refuge in this peaceful clan, now seeing the error of her ways. She knows she'll never be welcomed home again after the atrocities the committed in her rule. This knowledge pains her greatly, and she is willing to repent for her misdeeds, but is simultaneously terrified of what rightful punishment awaits her, so the clan hides her away from those hunting her down.
