Ancient arcane beast, originally a pearlcatcher but centuries of soaking up magic and self-imposed, experimental breed-changing spells have left him unrecognisable as any particular breed. Now exclusively aquatic due to his size, swims around in the Crystalspine Reaches and occasionally forages on crystals bc he's like 90% sustained on magic now. Old enough to have known undertides and misses their company (yay! They're back!) On good terms with the locals at The Chattering Tower when he's in the area but rarely actually interacts, prefers the company of other aquatic beings like maren and the eventual undertides, tho not all of them can exist in its extremely magic-saturated presence for long without headaches
