Biography
Clan Magician. Illusionist is revered for his clever tricks and silent mischief. You either admire him or are irritated by him. He enjoys silent tricks and disappearing acts, as well as well...illusions. Hypnosis is another thing he enjoys. It's all a hobby, though, and he wouldn't consider himself manipulative. Maybe annoying, though, as his tricks are cool at first, but after your stuff 'disappears' enough, it gets rather old.
There is no creature Illusionist loves more than Mist, his duskrat. The little rodent is very intelligent and can do a few tricks of her own. Some magic tricks, some as simple as fetching her master snacks and refreshments during his 'performances'. The fae gets anxious when separated from his companion.
(Mist is Illusionist's in lore familiar. Any other familiars attached to this dragon are purely for bonding purposes. Keep this in mind when choosing him for Ask a Dragon, and such threads)
"Why yes. A bit of an amateur, but I'm certainly in the field!"
He lifted a claw and fiddled with the smoke curling slowly around his small wings, his crest twitching thoughtfully.
"My favorites would have to be the disappearing acts...the ones where you make an object disappear right before one's eyes, mind you, not just clever theft! Though quick pickpocketing tricks are interesting too...and I'm getting better at those."
He produced a
that had affectionately been decorated by small, homemade accessories, to the shout of a dragon out of sight. Illusionist giggled softly.
"If you would believe it, though, my name is actually unironic. As in, this is just the name they gave me when I was a hatchling. I suppose it has something to do with my coloring."
He gestured vaguely to himself, and his obsidian scales, as well as the trusty Duskrat hanging about closeby.
"Upon inspecting the meaning behind that name, I...well."
He rubbed the trinket again, with a small grin.
