Katsuo had always been an oddball. She was always a bit... off, even for a spiral. Not as hyperactive or anxious as a spiral could be, and her sleeping habits weren't as sporadic. She also had oddly specific names for things in the lab, and thrived in the chaos of the emergence of the Aberrations. She was also a bit too... intense with regards to her research.

When the Aethers returned to Sornieth... it was finally time to shed her disguise- and not a single member of the clan was surprised in the least that Katsuo was not what she seemed.

Most were relieved that they weren't going crazy, and were happy to go back to normal.

...as normal as the clan could be, in any case.
