The issue:
I have all the points, but I do not have a bridge.
I have all the major plot points, but there is nothing to connect them. They are scattered snippets of life, a moment here and a moment there, but nothing that bridges them.
This is how it begins, and this is how it ends. But no, "This is how it goes."
And a part of him reveled in it.

But, what did they have, if not friendship?

"That pesky thing you call morals." --> (Hint to more than one confrontation. Not an entire scene, but just a few choice words. And culmination to...)
