Biography
Pitaya
He/him, trans, pan
Partner: Fennec
Pitaya is a very relaxed, calm and collected dragon. He rarely ever gets angry, and is very patient with everyone. Pitaya is also very creative and imaginative, and loves creating visual and written artwork. He also considers himself to be a philosopher, though his "wisdom" often makes no sense to most dragons. Pitaya absolutely adores frogs, and takes in injured ones he finds outside. Pitaya keeps a small menagerie in Brighthaven; he takes in injured creatures and rehabilitates them. Some decide to stay with him, and they become his companions.
Pitaya is very gentle and nuturing with the dragons he cares loves. He's very close with his partner, Fennec. He listens to the other unload the problems he's been bottling up, and offers him words of comfort. Fennec does the same for Pitaya. Pitaya is friendly with just about everyone in the clan, even the more ornery dragons. He is particularly close with Larkspur, Magnolia, and Sylph, however; Pitaya spends a lot of time in the garden with them, painting pictures of whatever they're cultivating.
Pitaya had a traumatic childhood, one he'd rather forget; he was separated from his home clan as a young child, and fought for survival in the wilderness. He occasionally found one dragon or another to take care of him, but they always ended up leaving him behind when he became a liability. Thus, Pitaya has trust and abadonment issues, though he tries to hide them. Eventually, he came across Brighthaven, and was able to find a stable living situation.
