Patch She/Her Mate of Pumpkin Frostwarden Ice Mage Iceridge Warrior Familiar An Iceridge Warrior never removes her hood in the presence of an enemy. 500 Patch is an ice mage, and as one can likely tell by her apparel, she is very adept as such. However, despite how advanced her skills are, there is one thing holding her back: clumsiness. Patch is notoriously clumsy, so much so that it perfectly matches her magical prowess, beat for beat. Many of the other guards have joked that she could win an award for it. If things keep up, perhaps she might. Patch can hardly go a day without miscasting a spell. The gap between what she intends and what she actually causes can range from small to large, but its almost always disastrous.

An attempt to create a wall of ice might instead result in a wall of ice spikes. Trying to create a light snowfall for some winter fun? How about a heavy hailstorm instead! It's a gamble, really. And let's not forget the time she tried to save Toil and Deirn's ship from sinking. They certainly haven't.

Patch is fully aware of her...difficulties. It's hard to ignore, after all, and it frustrates her to no end. Her abilities with ice magic are nearly unmatched, yet she is perpetually unable to display her full potential in case she might end up hurting someone. For example, she could freeze an entire invading force, if she tried...or she could end up freezing herself and all her fellow guards. Truthfully, no one is interested in finding out.
